Elpitha Answers Fashion

The good thing with Youtube videos is that I used to get the chance to show myself more. My character, my news and much more. When writing a blog its quite hard to get this across and I really want you guys to get to know me better and the reason why I have been doing this for the past 5 years. Here is to the beginning of getting to know myself, Elpitha a little bit better.

What sets your style apart from other personal style bloggers?
I definitely feel that my style is a little bit different to most women. The reason why is because I hate wearing something that when I will go out someone else will have on. I can remember in Sixth Form there was a phase everyone had the same bag, the same clothes because we all shopped in River Island. Now that I am living in Greece I shop brands I know most people have maybe not heard of or have easy access to. My style has always been quite logic also I would say, I definitely believe I am from the few people who know which items to wear in order to disguise a part of my body I do not want to flaunt.

What inspired you to start your blog?
Before this blog, I actually had a fashion only blog were I wrote my thoughts on designer fashion pieces. I actually stopped blogging on it and after about a year I began Glittermeup that focused only on beauty at the time. The reason I began it was because I was going through a difficult period at that time and it really helped me keep my mind of things. I also was crazy obsessed with beauty items and loved doing research to find the new it product that was going to make my makeup better.

What are some of your favorite boutiques that you must visit in your area or when you go shopping?
I absolutely hate shopping in my area. The reason is because I hate the way here in Greece sales assistants feel the need to stalk me around the shop, pressure me into buying something - it really does offend you as a customer because you feel like they are thinking that you are stealing. This is the reason I online shop, I can sit and look at an item for hours and days and click on and off it until I am happy because I decided. In the UK even though they do not have the sales assistant drives you nuts system, I still prefer shopping online. So, to answer the question my favourite stores are Next, Asos, Net-a-porter and Crocs (yes, i love comfortable shoes).

What is your favorite outfit that you've posted so far?
It has to be the most recent outfit I posted before this post which was the white crop top with the leather knee length pencil skirt. Why? Because I have had that skirt since November and every time I planned to wear it something came up (such as bad weather conditions) which made me replace the skirt with something else.

What should girls look for to get the most out of their budget?
If you are on a budget you need to make sure that you are buying items that can be worn all the time. You should be really buying one or two items per season that are on trend to help give your outfits that boost. The key to budget is planning and that goes for everything.

What spring trends do you love and which do you hate?
I adore anything with colour, it gets me excited for summer. I am currently loving the crop top trend it reminds me of the days when I was young and would dress up as Mel C and the same goes for the platform trainers. I hate the denim short thing that is basically hot pants and not shorts. It looks tacky and could only possibly look good at the beach.

What new pieces have you picked up for fall that we haven't seen on the blog yet?)
Statement rings, diamante heels and a cute tassel cardigan.
